You can feel something a little special from the moment you walk into the bright and welcoming venue. The cosy, Parisian-inspired dining space features antique mirrors, velvet seating, and an Art Deco bar. The greenhouse terrace offers a lush, open-air experience that hints at the connection with nature that underlies the ethos of Wildgrain.

The restaurant’s seed-to-plate philosophy is at the heart of the menu, with much of the produce served here coming straight from its own organic, regenerative farm. From fresh vegetables and herbs to edible flowers that garnish the cocktails, the Wildgrain team proudly grow and source the ingredients that end up on your beautifully presented plate. Unlike many small-scale restaurants, Wildgrain operates with a closed-loop system that creates a seamless cycle: from planting and harvesting to plate, and then composting back to the soil, minimising waste and without using synthetic fertilisers, chemicals or pesticides. This is not only good for the planet, it’s equally good for the palate; you can really taste the flavourful freshness of the locally grown ingredients.

The kitchen, helmed by chef Leo Howard, showcases the seasons through an ever-evolving menu inspired by what the farm yields. Expect fresh, organic ingredients that highlight the best of local terroir and are a delight if you are interested in a food’s provenance. Complementing the food are bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list, both local and international, hand-picked to enhance the farm-to-table journey.
